Trent Durham Advanced Learning Centre

Trent University Durham GTA established an Oshawa downtown presence with the opening of the Advanced Learning Centre (ALC) in the Fall of 2023. The ALC is located in a newly renovated 5 storey building with basement that serves approximately 800 post-secondary international students.

Besides providing spacious classrooms and numerous staff offices, the ALC also includes an open Social Commons with a feature moss wall, kitchenette, and custom built-in bench seating. Bench seating can also be found in the private outdoor student lounge located at the front of the building. Lastly, to accommodate a diverse student body, the ALC also houses a Multi-faith room with ablution stations.
