Productivity Improvement Centre

BBA originally provided architectural services for PIC in 2001-2002 where the existing building was completely overhauled and modernized with new HVAC, electrical and a “new corporate image”.

An increase in staffing projections plus the addition of a new call centre business required doubling the building size. A new 3 storey office wing was added which incorporates the latest ideas in office and call centre design. These ideas include ‘pods and hives’ and each floor has a themed ‘time out’ space for quick R&R. The warehouse utilizes the principles of tilt-up construction plus long span joists. Site development included relocation of existing services, parking lot development, loading docks and trailer parking.
