Ingenious Packaging Group (Metro Label)

Metro Label outgrew its own plant and required a new larger facility to accommodate a 10-year growth plan.  A number of unique design requirements were made including LEED Certification requested for low energy use and an architecture with multiple front elevations.

The new facility incorporates recycled building products and low energy HVAC systems. The design of Metro Label has both a Highway 401 physical presence and a Progress Avenue face.  Both facades are distinct in allowing for an architecture that is viewed as primary building elevations on either route.

The facilities are arranged for a multiple layering of material, texture and colour.
